So today i get to my mail box the pièces, i think i got the max correctly solder but in thé process i Lost two more components (capacitor UP thé max ic and thé one near thé resistor that was already missing )…
I have to do thé resistor too but thé max ic drain a lot of my motivation … I have to wait a little .
What do you think?(I know i burn thé speaker connector more than it was before)
Gotta say I’m amazed this IC is still seemingly working given it’s condition
LCD connector, bit hard to tell the extent of the damage due to the quality (I think your cam is aliasing the images, maybe due to compression) but you may be able to straighten the pins out with fine tweezers or a sewing needle if you have the patience if your worried about replacing.
Well done overall on getting the thing running again
Just to add, if it were me I’d be replacing that max IC, replacing the melted connectors, etc for console longevity but if your worried about accidentally causing secondary damage may just be best leaving as is
Good news ? I manage to solder the LCD connector right (yata)
Bad news ? Still no screen … (I know that the screen is working ) So i décide to test if i get m’y 5V near the LCD connector and thé answer is no .
I start probing everywhere to find where it stop , and but doing so i did something (i dont know what ) but now i have a short between thé coil and the Bq chip and its wont power on …
When i plug the battery , the Bq chip become hot (i think it’s normal since it try to power everything up) and whit no battery i got 15v and 0.012 A …
I do not believe it … I take out the Bq ic and thé short is gone … With a components near … So now i have to find what goes here (up the resistor at the right of the Bq chip)
