Acer nitro 5 not powering on, tried turning it on without realizing no ram, and it did show signs of life, but now the blue light is flashing, indicating the battery is dead, but it will not take charge. When I got it, the previous owner put thermal paste all over everything instead of thermal pads. Any idea on how to fix it?
It works with ther charger? try some to see if it back:
*disconnect the charger and the battery
*press the “power” button for 30 sec -1 minute.
- connect only the charger and try to turn it on. If it fails to boot at this time, you will need to measure some parts.
It appears it’s shorting the charger, when the charger is connected I’m measuring low or no voltage on the power rail
