I wanted to see if it made sense at all to get my good working Xbox series X halo edition serviced. Redoing the thermal paste, a good cleaning and such or does it make more sense to let sleeping dogs lie (dont fix what isnt broken). This may sound like a stupid question but I just want this thing to last and I didnt know if Preventative maintenance made sense. Thanks for your input.
My advice: Donāt touch it. Keep the dust away. Hover it out and let it be.
I have many device in for repair, which were damaged by āprentative maintenanceā. Mostly damaged connectors, ripped flex cables,ā¦
If the thermal paste is drying out in the future and the Xbox starts overheating during games, than a repairshop should take a look.
