Title pretty much explains it all. Will I need to get a new drive and swap the boards? Is it as simple as blowing compressed air in there? Is it even worth getting a lens cleaning disk? Thanks.
It’s not neccesary to swap HDD boards as in the case of the BD-Drive.
Remove the hard drive, connect it to your PC and use CrystalDiskInfo to have a look at your drive’s health, post a capture if you can.
If the program or the PC does not recognize the drive, then it’s game over for it.
Recommended HDD models: Seagate Barracuda, WD Blue, Toshiba L200.
