Dualsense controllers

I have recently replaced drifting thumb sticks with the Hall effect magnetic thumb sticks…… it seems to have stopped the drift however the right stick has become inverted? Everything seems to read the same as the left thumb stick that I can tell but down is up and up is down

Seems that the sensors are not for the Dualsense but more for DualShock or Xbox Controllers. Due to the direction how the stick modul is mounted on the pcb, it matters that the directions from the axis are the correct ones. If not the axis will move in the wrong directions.

Thank you for your response I have replaced both thumb sticks with the same module and only 1 of them has decided to go inverted? However it wasn’t doing it at first I had a small drift upwards but that seems to have stopped it’s just the inversion now!?
I have ordered some more thumb stick modules so I will probably try swapping it out and see if that solves my problem

If this would be the wrong modul, the pointing direction of one or both axis are the opposite, but overall behaves normal.

Did you made a propper calibration with DualShock Calibration GUI?

I haven’t tried the calibration no I’ve never done it before! I contacted the seller who assures me they are ps5 modules? Could it be they aren’t soldered down correctly?

In most cases if the original sticks are replaced with hall sticks and soldered in properly the next step is to calibrate the center and the range of the hall sticks, because the behaviour is a bit differnt to the original sticks.
