So I’ve had my original model Fat PS3 for a while now. A few years back, I went to pop it open to clean it. At the time, I was cocky and kinda…made some mistakes. The gold pins on the mainboard that hook to the front I/O & Daughterboard are still there, but bent beyond my skill of repair. If there was a connector for that, its gone. The Disk Drive also WORKS, but sounds like its grinding a rock. Im 90% sure of what the problem is, I just dont have the skills or knowledge to fix it. I understand that its a very difficult project, but I want to repair it, rather than throw it away. If anyone knows a credible repair shop that might be willing to even consider this repair, it would be a lot of help.
