A few months ago, I had spilled water into my Xbox Series S’s cooling fan while I was rearranging my room. The console was on at the time and afterwards it turned itself off and now the only thing it does is the power button will flash for a second then shut off. I(regretfully) opened it up to see if I could wash it off myself and bent the heat sync inside of it as well. I was wondering if it is possible for a console with months old water damage to be repaired and if it’s heat sync is able to be replaced or what impact of would have on the console if left bent.
I never sent it to get repaired because there are no local shops near me and I’m worried about it being damaged more during shipping and I didn’t know who to send it to. I searched the day it happened for hours and found no one, and recently I’ve been looking into sending the console off again. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
