Greetings, I have a problem with my Nintendo Switch. Console works but hangs on splash screen after reset. The screen that says to insert the joycons. When disassembling it I encountered a first problem with a chip that gets really hot. The chip is marked +AJZ 824. I looked on the nearby components, capacitors and diodes, but there are no short circuits on any component. I read that this chip is responsible for powering the joycons and the cooling fan. But I noticed that the fan works fine. So I asked myself the reason for this excessive overheating of the chip. I’m wondering if anyone has already encountered this problem. Thanks for the help.
AJZ gens 5v to joycon and fan but those 6leg ic on each jc rail connector enable/deliver 5v to the rail.
