PS5 boots right into loading bar "processing" and stuck at 99%

My PS5 Disk Version shows a progress bar right after start. Its seems to be stuck at 99%. I even left it for around 12h but nothing happened.
My idea was to reinstall the system software via safe mode, but also there it only shows the progress bar and not let me use the safe mode menu.
I also tried to remove the disk drive, but same behaviour.
Since there is not a single similar issue mentioned on the internet, maybe someone here has an advise for me?

Hey, has anybody found a solution to this issue? I just bought a broken ps5 from a recycling company and it has exacty this issue. Got it pretty cheap, wondering if it can be fixed on a budget. Thanks!

Did you check for error codes via UART or nor dump?

Hey Calvin, no i did not get that far, but thanks for the hint. I read about that yesterday and as I understand id have to buy a tool and solder it to the board in order to read the codes.

I left it alone for 24 hours and it actually git to the afe mode menu now with only option 7 available. I made a flashdrive with an update file, after a few steps it throws an error SU-101252-1 “Cant use console storage”.

Does it mean the onboard ssd is toast?

Thanks!

Seems to be a problem with ssd controller or the ssd nand ics. Would be interestig to know which error codes the southbridge is spiting out.
