So I was wondering if anyone knew the fix for the Red Ring of death. I don’t personally own the console as it belongs to my friend and have Only been told of this issue. But I appreciate any hints I can Get before I go in looking so when I get my hands on it I’ll have a better idea of what to look for.

That’s apu mate rlod and ylod are apu red ring of death is xbox not PlayStation I own both and have had to deal with them
there is no magic fix for the rrod or ylod. More likely than not its an issue with the gpu, because a TON of gpus from the 360/ps3s time period are known to be defective. your best option is to replace the gpu, but to do that you need a lot of experience and equipment that could easily cost quadruple the cost of a new console
