Topic. If I connect it to my usb c voltage reader with the OEM power supply, I get normal readings of 15v and .4a-.8a when turned on. The problem is the switch doesn’t boot this way; it will boot to nintendo logo and then turn off. Holding the power button will allow it to reboot but then it just does the same thing.
If I connect the switch to my PC via usb, it will boot up right away. What the heck is going on?
EDIT: Bit of a correction: the switch will boot when I connect it via USB to my PC. If I try to unplug it, it will stay on. If I plug it into my OEM nintendo power supply, it will crash and say there was an error. its the 2102-0001 error. At this point it won’t boot again and it will either keep giving the error or just black screen until I plug it into the PC again.
The issue is fixed. I reset the m92 chip with hot air and it works fine. All the pins were testing properly with the diode but it may have been some caps that were bumped around that I corrected when reflowing everything.
