Wii u stick drift that won’t fix

I have really bad stick drift on my Wii U game pad and I have tried everything to fix it but the up and down on the left joystick just keep drifting

Did you check the potentiometer for wear?

If there is stickdrift it is mostly a problem with a potentiometer. It could be dirt/hair/dust which prevent a correct reading or wear of the surface. My last ten controllers had more or less wear on the potentiometer which caused the stickdrifting. And I replaced the potentiometer on the specific analogstick.

If you are not used to soldering/microsoldering and don’t have the needed tools, I would advice to buy a replacement analogstick modul.
