I have a limited edition MW3 Xbox 360 that’s has the red dot of death but I’m unsure of how to fix the problem is it the power brick or is it to do with something else . It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help
More than likely you need reball to the CPU/GPU!
Is it a slim or the fat xbox 360 like with the hardrive sticking out
No its his southbridge that gone bad just throw it away because if you reball the southbridge all the components around the southbridge will go bad after reballing so it cheaper just to get a new 1

just throw the motherboard away the southbridge has died and just swap cases with another console

No. It has been shown many times that reballing is not repair. This is the same case with the 360. It temporarily fixes the dead diode/underfill by heating it up. You would need to replace the chip itself.
