Hi all,
I have this Series S that will power off after being on for about 1-2 minutes. I get video out and it’s at the setup screen asking to connect to my phone.
Things I have currently tried:
- Replaced the PSU
- Repasted the CPU/RAM
- Replaced the FAN
- Replaced the SSD
There are no signs of liquid damage.
The only thing I noticed is that there is no shield between the RAM and CPU Heatsink, I have seen other images that there should be a shield between these 2 components. Could that be all that I need?
Im not sure what else I need to try at this point before calling it DOA.
Thanks for the help in advance.
你有没有进行系统方面的设置 而不是更换硬件方面的问题,xbox的自动待机休眠设置
The system is factory restored at this point. and at the screen where it makes you setup your xbox for the first time syncing it with your phone. How would I adjust those hibernation settings if I cannot get into the xbox dashboard?
Thanks
你试一试拔掉扩展卡SSD,初始格式化后,不绑定手机,然后进行游玩,因为xbox机器初始休眠设置不会是1分钟而是三分钟(中国地区是这样的)
there is no expansion card inserted. Only the internal SSD that the unit shipped with. I can replace that and try…
The SSD is married to the console. You can’t just swap them unfortunately.
Got it, when I swapped it out for another SSD, the console immediately powered off.
Im at a loss as to what could be causing this. I suspect it’s something on the actual motherboard that is failing.
